Board the Amwaj in Aswan before lunch. In the afternoon, visit the High Dam and take a short boat ride to Philae Temple, moved stone by stone to Agilkia Island to escape the Nile's rising waters. Return to the ship for dinner and a welcome reception.

Overview
A 4-day, 3-night Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan aboard the Amwaj.
The Amwaj is a Nile cruise ship sailing the classic route between Luxor and Aswan, visiting the region's major temples over a 4-day, 3-night itinerary. Like other ships in this class, it offers full-board cabins, a dining room, and a sun deck, with each day built around a guided excursion to that day's site.
Itinerary
Day-by-day plan.
Sail to Kom Ombo to see its double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder, then continue to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus by horse-drawn carriage. Return to the ship for dinner as it continues north overnight.
Arrive in Luxor and spend the day on the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch, then a free afternoon before dinner on board.
After breakfast, disembark and visit Karnak Temple, a complex built up over roughly 2,000 years, followed by Luxor Temple in the city center. This marks the end of the cruise.
