Itinerary
Day-by-day plan.
- After breakfast, cross to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch as it begins sailing south toward Edfu.
- Take a horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, then continue sailing to Kom Ombo to visit its unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus before the ship sails on toward Aswan.
- Spend the morning visiting the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae, relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from flooding. The afternoon is free to relax on deck and watch the sun set over the Nile.
- Enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking in Aswan, where your cruise ends.
