Day-by-day plan.
After breakfast, set out on a guided exploration of the Giza Plateau. Stand before the monumental Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and admire the mysterious Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum to view its extraordinary collection, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin exploring the East Bank, home to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex and the elegant Luxor Temple. Later, board your Nile cruise, check in, and enjoy dinner on board as you settle into your floating hotel.
After breakfast, cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where Egypt’s pharaohs were laid to rest in richly decorated tombs. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, a masterpiece of ancient architecture, and stop at the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the cruise for lunch. The ship will then sail toward Edfu.
In the morning, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, reached by horse-drawn carriage.
