After breakfast, set out on a guided exploration of the Giza Plateau, home to the legendary Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Stand before the Great Sphinx and learn about the ancient rituals once performed at the Valley Temple.
Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the treasures of King Tutankhamun and countless other artifacts are displayed in stunning detail. Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, your guide will accompany you to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and share the story of its relocation to Agilkia Island.
Visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering feat that controls the Nile’s flow. Later, board your luxurious Nile cruise and enjoy lunch on deck as you begin your journey along the legendary river. Spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in the tranquil scenery.
Enjoy breakfast as your cruise sails north to Kom Ombo. Visit the remarkable double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, admiring its symmetrical design and intricate carvings. Continue sailing to Edfu, where a horse-drawn carriage will take you to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples.
